Attaining Global Relevance through Cutting–Edge Competitive Strategies: A Case Study of Babcock University

The study examined the effectiveness of competitive strategies adopted by Babcock University in response to demand for qualitative higher education. employs a descriptive research design and involving population comprising employees at main campus, Ilishan Remo, Ogun State. Structured questionnaires were administered 60 respondents selected using stratified sampling technique. Data was analysed form frequencies percentages presented tables graphs. found that uses different strategies. Among these include combination strategy, cost leadership differentiation focus strategy. It discovered source competition is international forces (universities outside country). also possesses various strategic advantages make it survive market or compete favourably against other Universities both public private within country. established exposed opportunities would enable universities future. makes organizational changes remain educational Industry Nigeria. faced with many challenges implementation her researchers recommend through effective use TOWS Matrix, can ensure activities are more feasible efficient even arena proper identification optimal resources.
